How to find us?

Two basic starting points for a trip to our city are:

1. Děčín

   Fr om Decin you drive in the direction of Hřensko. Make sure that you go right: when you exit Decin you pass a sign that says ”konec obce Děčín“, and on the left are the huge grounds of the culture house ”Střelnice“,then you pass a shabby little family villa, and above it, on the cliff will be the ruins of a church. After about 2 km you will find yourself driving in the village of Loubí. Then,winding,wavy terrain along the narrow asphalt road that lines the right bank of the river Elbe this is around 15km. This road will bring you to Hřensko, where behind the Vietnamese kiosks, you will go to the right next to the local authority (direction Jetřichovice). You will pass through the village to the bridge, which will take you across the river Kamenice to the left, and then to the right (this is basically an „S“ bend) = go across the river in the direction of Janov. Follow a winding road which will bring you directly to Janov, we are the fifth house on the right,i.e. Pastis Pension is the first building, then three family homes ... and then,after a slight left turn, you will arrive, and see the big house in all its glory. This is our Hotel U Zeleného stromu. The parking is hidden behind the hotel. (i.e, at the large tree on the corner of the building,take a sharp right).

2. Česká Kamenice

   Fr om Česká Kamenice and fr om other directions, which are attached to this route, you will pass the following villages Jánská, Srbská Kamenice, wh ere on the very confusing crossroads at the local sawmill, you will continue your journey up the hill towards Růžová (make sure you do not follow the signs to Stará Oleška or Vsemily). Throught a long dark forest you will get to Růžová, wh ere on the crossroads with the main road, you will go straight in the direction of Janov (do not go up the hill). Thus continuing in the right direction: after the sign directing you to ”konec obce Růžová“, will go down a short hill, which ends with a left turn. Through an alley you arrive at Janov. There at the crossroads, take a right, along the main road. Drive straight up the hill,the road turns sharply to the left around the village chapel, and slowly turns into the horizon (on the right is a Grocery store and right behind that ,is the other chapel, on the left is the pension U Rytíře). At this point, the hill breaks and follows a slight descent. You will pass the wide ramp to the bus turntable (on the left) and immediately after, you pass a dirt track (on the right). From there look diagonally, you will see the half-timbered part of our hotel. The view is covered by a tall tree - chestnut, from which you make a sharp left turn into the parking lot behind the hotel.

   The hotel entrance is on the front toward the road,from wh ere you arrived. We emphasize this, because the entrance from the parking lot is already for our accommodated guests. We find that people do disregard this and try to sneak into the hotel by a private entrance. Such actions only cause us extreme inconvenience.
